2010 - 2011 Company Auditions

Auditions for our 2010-2011 FM Ballet Season will take place on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Auditions are open to the public. You must be at least 13 years of age to audition for the company. As a company member you will have class/rehearsal every Wednesday evening from 8:30pm - 10pm. Other rehearsals will be schedule throughout the year as well to prepare for performances. This season we will be performing Hansel & Gretel with the FM Opera in October, Moscow Ballet - Nutcracker (November) and finishing our season off with a book ballet of Sleeping Beauty which will take place in March.

The FM Ballet is changing our season up this year. We have taken out 2 traditional performances (Spooky Ballets & a holiday production) and have been invited and are collaborating with other arts organizations in this community and from the globe.
Hansel & Gretel
The FM Opera has invited us to perform with them in their season opening production of Hansel & Gretel. Check out their website for more information.

Gasper’s School of Dance & the Fargo-Moorhead Ballet is the host studio for the Moscow Ballet’s Nutcracker.

Sleeping Beauty
This season Matt Gasper (Artistic Director) has decided to go a different direction. Instead of a small Children’s Ballet, he wanted to introduce to the community a full length ballet. Sleeping Beauty will be the FM Ballet’s biggest production of the season and be a featured full length ballet for all ages to enjoy. More information about auditions and the production to be announced at a later date.
