Spring Production

The FM Ballet’s spring production of Coppelia will take place on Saturday, March 10th (7:00pm) and Sunday, March 11th (2:00pm) at MSUM - Hansen Theatre. Tickets are now on sale through the MSUM Box office 218.477.2271. Ticket prices are $20 (Adults) and $10 (Students). For more information please contact Gasper’s School of Dance at 701.234.9440.

Thank you to everyone who auditioned for the 2011 Spooky Ballet! There was a huge turn out and we are excited by the talent of the group. Rehearsals will begin this week. ALL rehearsals are mandatory (when your dance is scheduled). Spooky Ballet is October 22 & 23, 2011 at the Historic Fargo Theatre (Downtown Fargo).

Jekyll and Hyde will not be produced this year, due to the massive project undertaking. We are not ready to give this piece justice at this time. The featured production will be “Three Virgins and a Devil”. We are excited about this adventure and to work with this talented cast.

2010 - 2011 Season

The FM Ballet is changing our season up this year. We have taken out 2 traditional performances (Spooky Ballets & a holiday production) and have been invited and are collaborating with other arts organizations in this community and from the globe.
Hansel & Gretel
The FM Opera has invited us to perform with them in their season opening production of Hansel & Gretel. Check out their website for more information.

Sleeping Beauty
This season Matt Gasper (Artistic Director) has decided to go a different direction. Instead of a small Children’s Ballet, he wanted to introduce to the community a full length ballet. Sleeping Beauty will be the FM Ballet’s biggest production of the season and be a featured full length ballet for all ages to enjoy. More information about auditions and the production to be announced at a later date.
