Fargo Moorhead Ballet’s annual productions typically target family audiences and serve not only the metro audience, but also surrounding communities through regional outreach activities. By partnering with local schools, the Company is able to provide a dance experience to all youth, including those who might not otherwise have the opportunity. Fargo Moorhead Ballet strives to provide family-friendly ticket pricing for its productions in order to bring the artistry of dance to a broader audience within the community.
To continue its tradition of making dance productions and educational opportunities in the performing arts accessible to everyone in the community, Fargo Moorhead Ballet relies on financial support from arts councils, corporations, private donations, and fundraising events. Volunteers are also critical to the success of Fargo Moorhead Ballet.

Volunteers

Fargo Moorhead Ballet is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The executive committee includes a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary in addition to standing subcommittees. The Board also benefits from advisory members with expertise in finance, coordination with other arts organizations, and artistic aspects of its productions.


Additional volunteers contribute to costuming, ushering, ticket sales, set construction, running crews, photography, video, letter writing, programs, and promotional activities. If you would like to volunteer your time and talent to Fargo Moorhead Ballet, contact us at .

Fargo Moorhead Ballet Supporting Organizations

Gasper’s School of Dance and Performing Arts in Fargo, ND, is home to the Fargo Moorhead Ballet, providing studio space for rehearsal along with artistic and administrative support. Visit GSDPA on the web at www.gaspersschoolofdance.com

Support for the FM Ballet season is also provided by the Cities of Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo through the Lake Agassiz Arts Council.

Fargo Moorhead Ballet is supported in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council through an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature.
