Audition Information

Sunday, September 8, 2024

• 1:00pm - 2:00pm | Ages 6 - 8
• 2:00pm - 3:00pm | Ages 9 - 12
• 3:00pm - 4:15pm | Dancers En Pointe
• 4:15pm - 5:15pm | Ages 13 - Adult
• 5:30pm - 6:15pm | CALLBACKS

• All area dancers that are ages 6 - adult are welcome to audition. 
• If you receive a CALLBACK slip, you will need to return later in the day during the callback time. This just means we need to see you further. Those who do not receive a callback slip means we do not need to see you again, but it does not mean you are not in the production. 
• Cast List will be posted by Friday, September 13, 2024.
• A required Costume Fitting will take place during September. Time & Date TBD.

What to Bring / Submit Prior to Auditions

• Audition Form (you can upload a Dance / Performance Resume)
• Headshot (included on the audition form)
• Conflict Sheet (September 13 - December 22, 2024)

Female Audition Attire

• Black Letoard 
• Pink or Skintone Tights
• Ballet Slippers & Pointe shoes (if en pointe)
• Short black skirt (optional)
• Hair must be pulled back in a neat ballet bun.

Male Attire

• Black t-shirt or tank top
• Black ballet tights or bike shorts
• Black ballet slippers

Production Information

• Required Theatre Dress Rehearsal: December 17 - 19, 2024
• Production Date: December 20 - 22, 2024
• NDSU Festival Concert Hall
• You will be required to attend rehearsals that your character / role is in. Missing rehearsals may mean dismissal from the production. Due to the limited rehearsal time, every rehearsal is important.

Commitment

Casted dancers are required to:

• Attend all rehearsals you are required to be at.
• Available for dress rehearsal and production.
• This production should be your main commitment. If you are accepted in the production, and you choose to participate in additonal extracurricular activites, this FMBallet rehearsals and production dates should be written down as your conflicts for that activity.
