MARY BETH PORTER

PRINCIPAL

Mary Beth is 18 years old and has been dancing for 13 years. This is her fourth year in FMBallet company. Mary Beth was in FMBallet junior company and Gasper's competition for two years. As a member of FMBallet junior company, she attended Regional Dance America to perform and take master classes. In 2019 she performed two solo pointe variations at Youth America Grand Prix. She has performed various roles FMBallet's The Classic Nutcracker throughout the past 12 years, prior to landing her dream roles as Clara in 2021 and The Sugar Plum Fairy in 2022/2023. She danced in the traveling Moscow Ballet Nutcracker. In addition to her Nutcracker performances she has been in numerous other FMBallet productions with memorable roles as: The Black Poodle in Tribute the Magic Toy Shop, Little Red Riding Hood in Sleeping Beauty, Nimuue in Spirit Rising, the Apprentice in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Swanhilda in Coppelia, and Peter Pan in Peter Pan.
