Auditions will take place for our first Junior Company on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 12:00pm. Auditions will be held at Gasper's School of Dance (home of the FMBallet). The FMBallet is a non-profit, pre-professional / professional performance dance company. Our main focus is in ballet technique but we do explore other dance genres including jazz, lyrical, and modern. Auditionees must be: * between the ages of 10 - 19 * dance at an intermediate - advance level * trained in a combination or one of the following styles: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, lyrical, and / or modern Requirements (if you make Junior Company) * Attendance is mandatory for company class (Sundays from 12pm - 2pm) * Enrolled in a ballet and pointe class at a dance studio. * Production Performances & Rehearsals - The Classic Nutcracker (December 15 - 17, 2017) - Aladdin (April 20 - 22, 2018) - Production Rehearsals typically take place Sundays after 2pm and additional rehearsals may be called during FMBallet Company Class on Wednesday's & Friday's between 7:20pm - 10:00pm - Any additional performances and appearances as they are scheduled. (Could include: Spooky Ballets - Dracula, mall performances, parades, and various events). Junior company does have a season fee associated with it.
